Why MR BODYSHAPER?

My mission as your weight-loss coach is to help you step off the diet rollercoaster once and for all by helping you understand the basics of nutrition & fitness and how changing your mindset and simplifying your approach can create lasting change.

I get it, trying to lose weight can be really difficult! I want to help make the process a little bit easier for you. I truly believe that with an approach of compassion, empathy, guidance and support, you can begin building healthy habits and behaviours and build a positive mindset around your eating and activity and life in general – all while still enjoying your favourite foods guilt-free (yes, you can eat the cake!).

You don’t have to do endless amounts of cardio, overly restrict calories, cut out food groups or stop eating all our favourite ‘fun’ I’ll show you how focusing on simple and doable daily actions can help you reach your goals one step at a time… simplicity changes behaviour.

The low-impact workouts on this programme mean no burpees, no mountain climbers and no jumping. There will be tutorials for bodyweight and dumbbell exercises. I’ll teach you the technique and then we’ll put the exercises into a beginner’s workout programme. Plus, you might want to try my ‘Bodyshake-it’ walking/dance workout with classic 90’s music! Fun, feel-good fitness!

The Happy, Healthy, Strong Beginners Programme is NOT a diet, it’s a lifestyle! It’s NOT a quick fix, it’s about taking it slow, it’s NOT about how much weight you can lose in 4 weeks and it’s NOT about a number on the scale. This programme is about education, awareness, understanding, being kinder to yourself, building confidence, focusing on daily actions and repeating those actions consistently. Ultimately, it’s about YOU becoming a happier and healthier version of yourself, physically and mentally.

Meet your COACH

I’m Lee Brennan, a fitness coach for beginners. Some of you may know me as the lead singer of 90’s UK Boyband 911. I’ve been a performer for over 27 years now and I still get to perform at lots of nostalgia gigs with my bandmates Spike and Jimmy in the UK and abroad and we absolutely love it!

I’ve always loved the idea of coaching and during the lockdowns of 2020 I decided to put that idea into action. I’m now a certified level 3 personal trainer and Precision Nutrition PN1 coach, plus I have my level 2 introduction to counselling skills (ICSK-L2).

I’m really excited to welcome UK self development coach Holly Matthews to the programme who’ll be coaching mindset. Holly is the founder of The Happy Me Project and a No.1 selling author on Amazon. She’s an inspiring woman who is very relatable and is amazing at helping people to feel ‘more happy and less crappy’.

I really can’t wait to get started and help as many people as I can on their health and fitness journey.

To get the maximum benefit, it would be great if you have have dumbbells. I will be teaching you how to begin lifting weights. Please don’t worry if you don’t have dumbbells or maybe can’t afford any at the moment as we will have bodyweight exercises also.

No, we don’t provide personalised nutrition plans as personal trainers aren’t legally allowed to do this. This is about you enjoying the foods you love rather than a specific meal plan that’s provided.

I am a certified level 3 personal trainer and Precision Nutrition coach (PN1). I have also completed my level 2 certificate in introduction to counselling skills (ICSK-L2)

The Happy, Healthy, Strong Programme is for anyone just beginning their health and fitness journey or for those who may have struggled with yo-yo dieting for a number of years and are looking for a more sustainable approach. A beginner is also someone who hasn’t lifted weights before or who hasn’t followed a training programme previously.

Not at the moment. I may offer 1-2-1 in the near future but for now I only offer group programmes as they are more affordable for people.

Not at all. The workouts are for you to do in the comfort of your own home.

This programme is not about focusing on weight loss specifically. It’s about focussing on daily actions and habits and being consistent which will then lead to weight-loss. You cannot predict an exact amount of weight-loss as we are all different, but a slow and steady weight-loss is around 0.5Ibs-1.5Ibs per week.

Soon I will be offering a 2.5 hr nutrition crash course online. I am putting together a self guided downloadable 30 day challenge, plus I will be offering an 8 week programme in the near future. In 2023 I will start my first in person group workshop.
